The objective was to design a series of three posters for the Creative Coast, a local organization in South Carolina. Each poster was designed using a different typographic style.

 

The style seen in the first poster is in the style of Fragmentation, which is when the image disrupts the type. In order to show this I cut some of the typography so it appeared as if the image was slicing through the text. The second poster is in the style of Fusion, which is when the type and the image blend together. I accomplished this by integrating the word Spring 09 into the image of the school of fish and setting the typography in the same colors as the image. The last poster is Inversion, which is when the type and the images trade places. Since all of the events featured within the poster were spring events I continued this theme within the poster by turning the letters into butterflies.
